If the most beautiful song in the world could magically become a work of visual art, it may be "Twilight Symphony".  In this radiantly serene landscape, Ford uses a glittering and saturated spray-painting technique for the skies and water, effecting an extraordinary dimensional quality on every natural element in the painting.  

He indulges an expressionist instinct with a chorus of floating, ethereal spheres of reflected light, bobbing toward the viewer with nourishing tranquility.  They're accompanied by cabernet tree reflections that seem to welcome them by echoing their form.  

The foreground tree in a contrasting hue of soft pinks and greens along the rocky islands are classic Ford Smith, providing an audience for this beautiful spectacle written by the moon.
