Ashleys Art Gallery has featured famous International artist Alfred Gockel several times.
Born in Münster, Germany, Alfred Gockel is a contemporary style artist who is influenced by the art of Salvador Dali, Miro, Picaso and Jackson Pollock.
Alfred Gockel became a household name among art enthusiast in the mid 1980's after his NY Art Expo debut.
Since then he has hold over 130,000,000 prints and posters through art galleries, frame shops and decorators world-wide.

Now many collectors know Alex through his performance painting and auctions on some of the high-end cruise ships.
Alex Gockel has helped raise awareness and funds for many charities, with a emphasis on the Andy Roddick Foundation during the last ten years.
Also, Mr. Gockel helped the United States Olympic Team by painting the official US Olympic Poster for the 2006 games that were held in Turin, Italy.
In addition to painting and printing techniques he is looking for the three-dimensional expression.
As a sculptor he has already worked with steel, acrylic, bronze, sandstone and marble. The "Yellow Angel" sculpture at the motorway interchange in Kamen (A1/A2) and the wing at he A1 in Münster Hiltrup are two of his most significant projects. His particular focus is the art in public spaces.
