This remarkable painting plays between the boundaries of wakefulness and slumber.  With it's retreating midnight skies and flowers rising in reverie, Ford's newest Bloomscape is a surreal study of morning and night.  Carrying the dream further, he composed the lush foliage to dip dreamily into the abstracted waters where the escaped blooms float, admiring their own blurry and captivating reflections.
