Ford personally selected this mesmerizing painting for limited edition release and it's easy to see why the artist himself deemed it to be one of his most exciting. It's everything you might expect from a Ford Smith painting but then swirls past your expectations. "Optimistic Spin" is a fantastical, dreamy landscape with every surreal square inch meticulously attended to with a meandering, artistic eye. Working on this painting felt a lot more like play for Ford, although he spent nearly a month on it, letting the painting flow from him with a focused, yet leisurely passion.
