KING OF KINGS
This image looks forward to the day when Christ will exchange His wooden staff for a royal scepter, when He will be seen as the Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
He will rule, not as a vengeful dictator, but as one who said, “In My Father’s house are many mansions….I go to prepare a place for you…that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2-3
